PhD (Clinical Psychology)
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board with 17 years’ experience, mostly in psychiatric hospitals and public sector mental health, across the United States and New Zealand. I am also a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society. My approach to therapy includes elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness; however, I am flexible to the needs of the client. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment for my clients. It is important to me that my clients feel heard and understood, and that I can help them feel empowered to develop the skills needed to get through difficult times. I work with children/adolescents (from age 13) and adults.
